If you ruled the world, what would you do?

I would lower taxes and let people do there thing. Let Business do its job. And provide for a better justice system.

People will work for there money, no free rides. Right to bear arms and free media.

And most importantly, free Religion... :medievalcheers:

if only I could solve the one weakness of that society type... As long as I can't solve it, I'd stick to a common-sense based reactionary ideology. I would combine freedom and equal rights unlike the newbie politicians today that claim freedom and equal rights are mutually exclusive.

And it should be possible to work less than 4 hours a day for food and shelter. Even cavemen could beat that, but we with our technology can hardly keep work below 8 hours a day, and then travels and domestic work which accounts for another 4 hourse is excluded... Of course, if you want more luxury in your life, you could work more. But the average joe shouldn't be forced to unless he wants to.

Well alow me to alaborate further on my idea.

There will be laws. You break one, you die. Plain and simple.

These rules are

1. No killing another person, unless in self defence.
2. No Rape.
3. No Treson.
4. No destroying or tresspassing property.

A few laws will simply be a more minor punishment. *A few months-a year or 2 in prison*

A. No Steeling.
B. No Lieing.
C. No oppressing people rights.


Peoples jobs are NOT garenteed. You must WORK to keep your job and provide for your family.


The Military acts like an extention of the Poliece force.

The world will have provinces, each province will have a Millitia.

5 Provinces make a Territory, each Territory will have a Poliece force.

3 Terroritorys make a State, Each State will have a Guard.

The planet would be guarded by the Military.


The beliefe that all people are equal is enforced. However, this does not mean that welth will be distributed among the people. You WILL WORK for your money.

However, the rich will have little power over the Government. Each Territory will have a Represenative who will vote for what the Majority of the people want.


Religious Organizations will recieve Grants depending on the number of people who believe in there Religion.

Atheism will have similer benifits as the Religious. However, because Atheism is not a Religion, they recieve less then the Religious.

Religious symbols will be permitted to be seen in Public areas. If you don't like it. SUCK IT UP.


Firearms will be permitted, but mostly for use in Hunting and sporting events *like they usualy are used for*. Also, to be in the Millitia, you will need your own firearm.

Banning Firearms is Treson.


Homosexuality will be permitted, but they WILL NOT recieve the same privliges as Heterosexuals. But they will recieve some.


Everyone has an opinion, telling someone that they are wrong, outside of political debates, is looked down upon.

Yeah, me too... In fact I have thought of a party that was in fact the 'Dictatorship Party'. Where the country becoems a dictatorship but with elections along the lines of "Should we stay in the EU?". Those kind of thing people do in general want to vote for, but the parliamentary elections are getting more more boring, so people don't go. Besides the parties are so bland and voterseeking that eiehr they don't move at all, or they move all over the place in order to gobble up the last few votes. Too much media-suckup. Bah!

As long as the government doen't infringe too much on our lives, and in general provide well for us we don't care it seems... So why not have a stable and secure government. One where the dictator would work for the state rather than for himself, where people could speak freely and no censorship. Problem is just such governments will not happen, and if it did it would devolve into an oppressive system quite soon.

So we have to stick with the second best, democracy, with all it failings.

That about sums it up for me, except for the religion bit. I have no trouble with people believing whatever they want, but there would have to be rules regarding how much reactionary religious influence is allowed in the system. Especially so far as scientific research is concerned.

Religion and science would keep out of each others way.

Where to start.First thing i would do,i would introduce a tax for every single stock exhance.That would force the investors to actually invest on firms rather then pumping money into them for creating their stock value expectations to increase.Next i would create a big toll for shipping raw materials from one country to another.That would encourage to create a manufacturing industry to those countries where the resources are.After that i would organize a free election and see whether people would like me to continue as a Global Dictator. :crowngrin:
