It's not crack, you jerk. It's hash, or pot. And yes, I find that offensive.

Anyway, what I have described is still not nearly as fun as really being high, not in the least because you can move around and do things while you are high. Your mental state is also dramatically altered, whereas this is just feeling part of the physical aspect.

I notice that meatwad has been more vocal with his support of illegal narcotic use on this forum lately.

And one day, after you are 30 and realize that you still live with your parents, you may stop th pot and get a job. But by then it will be too late. Because you wasted your twenties on Marijuana.

And I get to talk all the **** I want because I smoked it since I was 12 and stopped at 18. So nyah. I even smoked when I had bronchitis. I did other horrible horrible things that I refuse to mention here.

Another great thing about pot. Go out in public while you are stoned. Sooner or later you will feel like everyone "knows" that you are stoned. Boy that's fun. Then you freak out.


Or do LSD and have a bad trip where you find yourself in HELL. Not flame hell, but "God does not exist" hell. All meaning suddenly evaporates. Even time is pointless. Why eat? Why breathe? But you are trapped and you must continue to exist despite realizing you have no reason to. Nothing is entertaining. Everything is nothing. I would rather die a violent death, thank you very much.

Look, the reason I have been vocal is because I have been running into some rather unpleasant, strongly anti-drug people. The problem is, the stuff can be tolerable in moderation. When you go overboard with it, yes, it is awful. Personally, I am very strict about not using marijuana more than once every two weeks or so. The other problem is that people tend to act more mature on this forum than most others, so I forget how many young people there are around. That is a mistake on my part, and I apologise.

One thing, though- please don't post here when you are drunk again. It is embarrasing. (I am sure you have already taken this into account.)

I think a discussion on drug use is a good idea. I think the approach is what needs to be delicate. This is becasue so many people are poorly informed.

Personally, I think pot is way less harmful than alcohol and I think it is insanity not to legalize it.

A discussion on this is great. After all dude, I am friggin cop in the Corps and I smoked the crap. Its out there. Its widely used. So let's be adult about the topic and discuss it that way.

As for kids and teens, who cares? We just had a discussion on KILLING. I don't think this is nearly as bad.

I'm with you on this one meatwad. As for all other drugs, including psychadelics, I am on the other side. The consequences are far too costly to society.

The original post was describing of a way to allegedly simulating the sensation you get from smoking pot. It didnt involve anything dangerous...being a crossbreed between meditating and being really bored ( sit down and breathe slowly and dont move for 10 minutes more or less...)

Turns out it was partly oxygen deprivation, so I removed it. I didn't want anyone to die.

Also, Divinius, yes, I misunderstood you. To be perfectly frank, I amy joke about hallucinogens, etc., but I certainly would not condone their use. I, myself, do not use anything but marijuana. Hell, I don't even use hash, or that stuff you scrape out of your pipe (I forgot what it is called, but I don't use it because the people at my college use glass bowls... and I kinda wonder what they're really smoking... :thinking:). Also, the drunkenness comment was out of some concern- I was telling you to be careful, because that's a good way to get kicked off the Org. That's why I never post here when I am high.

Drink is a far more serious hazard than any form of weed. The things I have seen otherwise calm and intelligent people do while they were absolutely piss drunk are unmentionable on this board. In the short term, too much drink turns people into violent, uncontrolable, aggressive, overconfident and generally dangerous lunatics, who can do a lot of damage to themselves and those around them. Too much weed on the otherhand makes people dizzy, nautious, lethargic and tired. In the long run, too much drink will cause severe mental and pyhsical severe problems such as liver damage, chemical addiction, destruction of brain cells, depression, loss of attention span and potentially death. Too much weed in the long will cause mental problems like depression, paranoia, social disconection, anxiety, loss of brain cells, loss of attention span and can bring out scitsophrenia in people who have a natural predisposition to it.

Weed in small amounts generally causes the user to become calm, more reflective, hungry and well... stoned! Increase the dose and these effects become more extreme to the point where the user will probably just fall asleep listening to pink floyd or giggling like a 5 year old. Alcohol in small doses makes people more confident chatty, outgoing and aggressive. Increase the dosage and put it into a typical club/pub/crowd setting and you are looking at mass scale fights started over people bumping into each other, vandalism, glass bottles being thrown, sexual assaults, karaoke, people collapsing from alcohol poisoning, vomiting, ambulances and a really bad hangover. Weed's negative affects are mostly limited to the user or abuser themself, alcohol will destroy the abuser and all/everything around him. Now, guess which drug is legal...!

I would certainly not recomend anyone to take anything in excess. Believe me, I have first hand experience of people who have taken both of these drugs and indeed many others to a dangerous and extremely destructive level. However, approaches such as "reefer madness" achieve absolutely nothing, dead accurate information is what is needed, not half truths, hear-say and downright lies. I personally enjoy the odd joint, and drink a few beers socially on a regular enough basis. Everyone is different and has to make their own experience. Each person will have their own threshold after which that next pint or that one more hit of the bong is a bad idea.

The rest of the post was also unneccasary as of course each of the substances I mentioned are naturally occuring , therefore part of Gods creation , so of course Jesus would have known all about them and wouldn't have to send his disciples out to get samples .

...but at the same time is working in the City for a large insurance broker ( my left wing side call use corporate pigs... ) and enjoys every minute of it...

...which shows that not all is black and white in life, and also that you can have a left wing political ideology and a right wing economic one.
