Hello guys

Since I can't host in the STW MP forums i have to post here.

First of all i would like to say that i am a very big fan of the TW series. I have been playing the series from the days of the original STW. Although I was mainly involved in SP, I played MTW MP for about 5 month period.

I was hugely disappointed by RTW, however i still think that STW is the best game EVER.

Now I have several questions concerning STW :

1-How can I change the units stats in the original STW.
2-Where can I find STW/WE/MI replays. (other than the ones hosted on the wolf clan site)
3-Where can I find the replays of the last STW tourney (the one that has done on shambles fake server)

You cannot change stats in original STW. You can change stats in STW/MI by editing troopstats.txt and projectiles.txt.

sorry Nobunaga... I think there are no replays made in the last tourney...

I'll check the replay thing out soon, so you can view replays of the second ~:)

hey dirsosis, i would love to play stw mp online, however the connection at college for some reason doesn't allow online play. I tried to play many games online and I always get "connection failed" :(

oh strange... I don't know how what's causing that. You can always try, but if no single game worked I have few hope.

I have the same problem. The college firewall blocks all but a few ports.

You might ask the IT people if it's possible to open up the right one but I dodn't have much look with that.

The other possibility is using a http tunnel or a shell account. One of the societies here has a college approved ssh server (or something like that, I'm not sure) that I'm trying to figure out how to use MTW through. Maybe your college has something like that?

You must edit your internet.cfg file to e able to log on to fake server,

but if a fire wall is blocking you that wont help :)

But like i say You must edit the internet.cfg file first or the game will try to connect to a non existant server, and will also cause you to fail to connect.
