Any information on named legions in BI ??

Hi everyone ~:wave:

I have learned from threads here and on other forums that legions will be named in BI depending on which region they are raised in. Does anyone know what will trigger the legion being named? Will it be based on a particular unit or general such as first cohort?

I am really looking forward to this feature as it will enable me to take a very personal interest in my legions and give me a much more engrossed gameplay. The feature will also help in the story/PBEM threads. I just hope the feature will be in both RTW and BI.

First Cohorts only. I haven' gotten any yet, so I can't comment any further than that.

It seems a shame that even though we should be able to name legions in RTW that we will have to wait until the Royal Barracks in BI. I wonder what the justification for this would be?

On the same subject does anyone know if you can now name legions in RTW after the BI expansion is installed?
