Very Handy Website

I just got this off the Black and White 2 website. It's a website that lets you select a game, and then checks your system to see if it meets the game requirements. I passed the test for BW2 quite well, although if i want it to perform better, i need twice as much RAM as i have now.

Hmmm, I'm a bit nervous about downloading and installing a program that allows a web site to scan and fart around inside my PC.

You can get the same info by reading the tech pages of number of different web sites, or by asking questions in The Arena. Neither of those is quite so intrusive.

The only thing that's allowed to do it to my machine is Windows Update.

hmm I remember some sites where I could just type in my specs and get the results 2 seconds later.. the site it self would calculate it for me, and that was just a regular fansite.

Anyway , I have a good computer ( spec wise ) and so I'm confident it can run B&W2.

According to the website, the only place i fail is RAM. It says the recommended RAM is 1GB, but i only have 512MB. At least i pass minimum specs.
