Genetically altered mice discovered accidentally at the Wistar Institute in Pennsylvania have the seemingly miraculous ability to regenerate like a salamander, and even regrow vital organs.
This is quite an amazing find. If it can be done in mammals such as mice, who's to say it couldn't be done in humans? Sure, the prosthetic limbs business will end up being destroyed, but lives across the world would be better for it.
