i look around and see only BI threads...my eyes are weary. it seems like a part of me died, when my mission stranded in version 1.2. and only a few of the old guard remain. i look around and see no new faces. old ones fade and dissapear. and when everybody is gone i feel left alone in this world without BI :bow:

You're not alone. I still play RTW without BI. And i never plan on getting BI. It's nothing more than a glittered up version of what RTW was meant to be.

wait a day or two (hopefully) and you can leave the old 1.2 guard behind too!
get the 1.3 patch and you can feel like a new man.
(that's what I'm waiting for, the patch that is, not a new man. I dont think BI is even out in Australia yet)

Having a lot of fun as the Seleucids. Endless wars with Pontus, Egypt, Armenia and Parthia. I lost many battles, but when I won, I crushed them....Awesome. H/H

And I ain't no newb, I'm playing strategy games since 99. I am a veteran. ~:)

Same here. I got my first strat game, AoE, in 98, when i was seven or eight. Been playing ever since.

Gawd, you lot make me feel old. I've been playing chess for 30 years, through role playing games, the first personal computer games and arcade,consoles, text adventures, first graphical adventures, strategy games on the Amiga 500, PC to today. I would be considered gaming l33t if I wasn't so old.
