Lag in BI [Archive]

Hello,

I have a new and fast PC. Video card: ATI x800xl, 2 Gig ram, Intel 840 processor. BI runs very laggy on my PC. Rome however runs fine. I turn down all graphics and antialiasing.

Is there anything I can do to eliminate this very bad lag. I almost have to reboot PC every hour. :furious3:

Check out Sam Adams' "Memory Leak?" thread. Looks like you're not alone. If I remember correctly, somebody was able to make the problem managable by some changes to virtual memory, or something like that.
