I am applying to go to university this year.

Is there an advice you guys can give me?

Has anybody been to any of these universities:
Liverpool John Moores University
The Manchester Metropolitan University

What are they like?

On my UCAS applcation form in have:

Computer games technology at John Moores- This is the one really want to do and it only about 6/7 miles away.

Software engineering at John Moores.

Software engineering at Liverpool.- I don't really think I can get in there, but it is worth a try.

Computer games technology at Manchester Met.- This is only if I don't get in the others.

I have just started at King's College in London...my advice so far....you will probably feel like you wont have a clue what is goin on for the first week or 2..Dont worry about it! and as someone said, the reading list will probably be huge, dont bother in trying to read them all!

I applied for medicine...

I just randomly chose the best, where my dad works, where some nice girl i know wants to go, and where I was born.

Still not 100% sure medicine is too good a plan, but too late now. UCAS still haven't bloody processed it though.

So you have already sent it off?

If so that was very fast. We only started ours last week because of some password problems and the college removing the UCAS software, so we had to do it online.

I've applied for Medicine at Oxford, ICL, UCL and Liverpool.

Oxford I wanted to have a go at, the two London Unis I picked because I'd really like to study in London, and Liverpool just sounded pretty cool

Oxford's fun, it's a bit up its own bum but not as bad as people think. Its just as expensive as London though. I always felt sorry for the medics, they had to work so hard. But then I guess you know that.

I thought you had to do it online...

Anyway needed to get it off early (before 15th Oct). Not that Ucas has bothered processing it yet.

I thought you had to do it online...

We started doing it on a UCAS program the college had, but for some reason they deleted, so we had to do it online. Then there was problems with the password.
