Can someone tell me why Verci has been banned from the .org?

You have been banned for the following reason:
None

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Yeah, the banned message shows up when you are not logged in and you go to a forum that is access masked, such as the Backroom or the EB private forums. If you log in everything is fine.

One's not banned.

There are two problems:
-One does not remain logged in when the remember box is not toggled.
-Wrong error message. Instead of the helpful log in page, one's just told that he's banned for nothing. A bit too draconic for my taste.

Top of my fix list now.

The remember me box is toggled on by default now, this is how it was in the past. I'm still looking why it caused so much trouble, but this quick edit should decrease the inconvenience a bit.

I had the same message. I was logged in, and I clicked on a backroom post (from the overview) it gave me same message, and I thought what??!?!?! Then I logged in again, clicked on the same post, and no problems. I think it's something that happened because of the forum changes.

It's a bug. It does'nt mean you are banned. It can be a shocker though, as in "Huh!??? What did I do?" LOL !

.
When you log out, clear your cookies before you relogin. In such cases, wipe the cache too.

I would prefer if it was toggled off by default. There are other people using this computer and don't want them accessing the Org on my name, but that means I have to toggle it off every time I log in. Is it just a temporary solution or is it going to stay this way?

I don't know yet Ludens. Logging out is always a good idea when you use a shared computer, that's the thing one had to do in the past.

For what I can see now, the not remember me function only works erratic when the user hasn't cleared the browser cache. Pretty annoying, extra shocking when it shows the ban message.

All right. It is not as if unselecting the "remember me" button everytime is a great effort. But I liked that I did not have to it anymore. ~D
