If you open the list of cities, and click on the name of the city, you are not automatically taken to that city.

While that's tolerable for BI, which has fewer cities divided among more factions, that's going to be a major pain for a R:TW 1.3 campaign, where large empire management is a bother.

Right-click to bring up the contruction/recruitment scroll, then click on the magnifying glass button in the lower left corner of the scroll to move the map to the city's location.
