caligula help

I need help with caligula.How and where do i save my unit.Tried clicking save changes then the unit card and unit wont show up in the game and when i click save unit data i saved under some txt file named deser_unit txt or something like that and i tried loading my game and it would load tothe first screen with rights and all and then it crashes please help.

After clicking save changes you need to save the unit data (as you did, which resulted in that crash).

Now, if you tell me what changes you made, I will try to work out why it's crashing for you.

I saved my changes on export_descr_unit this is what i did.And the unit is called a urban hoplite a urban cohort combined with a hoplite and it can do a tstudo formation and a phalnxs formation.Thats my information.

A unit can only have 2 formations (hence the max 2), the problem with the two you have used is they are both special ability formations (you need to click the button). AFAIK you can't have both on a unit at one time (though I could be wrong), and as none of the 'default' formations have been used (horde and square) I think this is the cause of your crash.

Try removing phalanx and activating square, save, then see if the game still crashes.

Ok but do you think saving the file on export_descr_unit might be a problem because it says if i want to overwright or not.

That's normal (it wants to replace the existing file). If that doesn't fix the crash, try sending me the unit file (the email is in the readme).
