I am new on this forum.ciao to everybody.
I have a problem.using HGT_Converter the map it works but over to produce the file corrected_regions the game produces the file cliffs_debug.why?what it is the file cliffs_debug.

You mean that:
1. you use the HGT_converter to transform a map_heights.tga into a map_heights.hgt
2. When you start the game it runs fine but it creates 2 new files: corrected_regions and cliffs_debug?

Then it simply means that game is not 100% happy with the map_heights.hgt made by the HGT_converter and reports the problems it finds by creating those 2 files.

The best thing to do is to send your map and the 2 files to Alpaca, the author of the HGT_converter. He is interested in improving the conversion algorithm and those files may be able to help him.

And we hope to hear from CA about this .hgt issue.

I have understood that the file cliffs_debug doesn't depend from hgt.converter but from the game. in fact I have tried to remove from bi the map.rwm leaving the original map_heights, therefore without using the hgt converter and however the file cliffs_debug is produced. why? as it is possible? which is the cause according to you?hi to all you are great
