Whilst writing for their album Never Mind The Bollocks, The Sex Pistols' manager Malcolm McLaren gave them a list he'd written of 'punk-type words' he wanted them to use. One of the words was 'submission' - McLaren expected a song about bondage, whips and chains et cetera. So to annoy him the Pistols wrote a song about a submarine mission ~D

Patton never said this: "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.
He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

The man who is really responsible for it, is Carlo d'Este from "A Genius for War"

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are always said to avoid each other, even in a cast of a film. Godfather II was an exception but they never were in the same scene in that film. However, the movie - Heat was the first one to do that. Even though there were rumors that they used stuntmen (right word?) for the dinner scene, from the wideshots it was obvious that they acted together in the same shot.

the second "half" of Kurt Cobain's suicide note was doctored. It wasn't a suicide note but farewell to music fans. He was very likely murdered due to this evidence.

Babe Ruth never cast the 'curse of the Bambino'. According to his daughter, he always understood that baseball was a business and from the moment of his retirment on, always hoped the Boston Red Sox would return to their former glory that ended upon his departure.

Who do they think killed him? Courtney? I wouldn't put it past her. I think Stone Temple Pilots has a song about it (at least that could be what they're talking about. Do you know the one I mean?).
