I think iot was interesting when it seems almost as if a higher power takes a care in humanity. and i would like to know, has your country ever been saved by god?
we probably all know of the mongol invasion of japan. the entire mongol fleet was sunk in a tsunami and japan was saved.
in the war of 1812 (U.S.vs british) right after washington D.C. was burned a hurricane struck and caused tornados that killed/wounded 5000 british troops and stopped them from invading the rest of the country for a month.
i was thinking of another too but i forget what it was.
do you guys know any times when a country seems to have been directly saved by god?
Not per se... God has never intervened like that for Denmark, we have had to do it on our own (seems God is playing favourites here ~).
But it was claimed that our flag fell from the skies during a battle in Estonia in 1219 (oldest national flag), accompanied by the voice of God saying, that we should fight for christianity under that banner.

Wasnt it Voltaire who said 'God is always helping the strongest battalions' or something like that?
Oh, and it wasnt a tsunami, but a typhoon?
The Battle of Crécy comes to mind, where the rain ruined the French crossbows and mired their cavalry, giving the English a huge edge. Though, God seems to have switched sides by the time Joan of Arc came around. ;)
I remember reading somewhere that there were reports of miracles happening in some of the battles fought in the Crusades, but I don't remember the details. In one of them, soldiers claimed that St. George himself appeared in their midst and fought alongside them!
On a more realistic note, there was a lunar eclipse over Constantinople while it was under siege by Mehmed II, forming a crescent moon, a symbol of Islam. This demoralized the defenders a lot, helping Mehmed take the city (though I'm pretty sure he would have taken it anyway).
the storms that helped the british defeat the spanish armada,

Seems God prefers storms, to droughts, tornados or things like that!~D

Yes, of course. When Frederik the Great was about to loose the Russian Queen died and the coalition of his enemies broke.
And Nazi time of course. When the evil Nazis ruled God made fire fall from the sky, made the earth shake, destroyed all towns, made people suffer and die until the Nazi evil was gone!
