Golden Horde

I have tried changing a few things to include the Golden Horde as a playable faction in the Early period.
I only play campaign. . .no battles.
Every so often an error pops up and the game crashes.
The errors are all about Golden Horde/Mongols and images or such not found.
What all must I modify to achieve the Golden Horde as playable in the Early period?
Any help would be appreciated.

The solution to just not click a building is icky, though. Is there a way to make a little decoy icon or such? I have also noticed the princesses are missing and I got an error message with the Golden Horde appearing last night when the Early period ended in an unmodified game, but I was able to click OK and continue the game.
