Every time I try to start a new 1.3 Imperial campaign as Numidia I get a CTD.

Anyone else having this problem?

Were the Numidians even playable in the first place? I don't think so and I heard that unlocking the factions in BI even crashed the game. It seems CA is trying to block it out or something.

There are some posts regarding this. Apparently you have to change two files to make the nonplayable factions playable. Just look search around a little - it shouldn't be too hard to find.

To save some time you have to make an entery for Numidia in the file in the text folder that gives the faction descriptions. I don't remember the name so your on your own for that.

There is a 'play as all factions' mod over at twcenter which was originally for 1.2 but has been updated for 1.3:

(Apologies if it's bad form to post links to other websites!)

I got that last night to play as Spain again. Works a treat and fixes the Roman General as an Archer unit.

Much better than changing the files yourself for every faction. It has proper campaign descriptions too (from what I have seen so far)

When I tried the 1st time I got the 1.2 file for some reason. Anyways, I tried again and the link and the 1.3 files works perfectly. Thanks for your help. I'm a happy RTW camper now. I only bought BI to play RTW without the save/reload problem.
