Ok, I have wayyy too many generals, they cost too much, and I have too many spies and diplomats too. Is there an easy way to kill them?

For generals, you have to find a big army, hope he doesn't route or accidentally win the battle.

I know you can kill spies by having spies in an enemy cities, but it doesn't awlays succeed.

I don't think there is any way to kill diplomats or assassins.

Is there?

I really want a suicide button.

How about packing all of them in one army (one stack) and setting them off on a suicide mission. (Can't exactly remember if the spies and diplomats will die with the army if it disintegrates).

or put them all in one ship and do the same.

Send them in one army as a single crusde, using the generals as mass cavalry (I know, cheap) to crush any enemy armies you dislike.

Why don't you go and loot some rivals towns with your excess force instead? The extermination would sure pay off their cost. ~;)

In any case, if you wish to have them killed, embark all of them on a single ship, preferably battle-worn ship and attack a full stack fleet with a multi-stared admiral and higher level vessels.

If you're worried about winning battles you're doing something wrong.

I had a general who was the wrong religion, had lots of nasty governor traits and a loyalty that fell down to 2.

I didn't trust him in a town or with an army, but he beat a surprising number of rebels just by himself - and keeps getting higher XP. He beat a decent 6 unit rebel army in 2 attempts.
