I recevied notice of a warning for my comments in Solypsist's thread of the video showing how Americans are excited about attacking other countries, but are too stupid to know where they are. However, the moderator who assigned the warning to me didn't sign the warning. As I have a couple of questions to ask them, would the warning moderator kindly PM me.

We all got warnings due to that threat, Except Soly of course, he's invicible.

These tags are fun

Hrm...is typing random things in the censor tags abuse of them?

This thread is now extraneous, I know where my warning came from.

What happened to the rule against posting falsehoods? I guess as long as your only bashing us stupid americans its just fine.

Come on Gawain (and others), don't be stepped on your toes so quickly! In the Netherlands we had a TV program about having vacation and the highpoint of the program was people on holiday needing to point on a map where they are. When in France they point to Alaska, when in Belgium (right next to the Netherlands) they point to Asia.

The same happens with a program about cartraffic; showing a trafficsign and asking people what it means. After 6 or so false answers the right one comes. Does that mean only 1 of 7 knows the right answer? No, it only means that programmakers think, and it probably is, that showing people giving dumb answers is funny.

The video should be considered as a cartoon, or are also you writing letters to newspapers that they are bashing the US?

I really have no complaint with the video as Ive said. But if he jumps all over Kaiser for posting the truth and infact calls him a liar and then posts something lying about americans I dont think its fair. He did put sort of a disclaimer on it but it was rather obtuse. Another patron posted the same video but made it abundantly clear it was a joke. Again my problem is with warning Prol for reorting his post and jumping all of Kaiser because he dissagreed with him and threatining him. I suggesst in the future that mods do not give warnings to people who made comments about them. The same happened to me once because I dared mention a mods name and called them out on a matter. I however probably deserved it as I was new here and should have pmed him instead.

Let's just back things up there for a minute. These are the "truths" that Kaiser was posting:

Well, without slavery, they'd still be in the dark ages in Africa, dying at age 30 of a cold.

and:

On the other hand, in Modern America, blacks and hispanics have it MADE.

and:

I mostly ignore (racism), to be honest with you. But what pissess me off is alot of Blacks and other minorities not being able to get over (racism). Which makes me pissed, I've been through the same. if not worse, yet do I bring (racism) up every 10 seconds? Do I play the rascist card? Nope.

By just about any standards, those statements can be described as "over the top falsehoods" which is how Soly described them. He certainly did not refer to Kaiser as a liar, unless he did so in another thread that I am unaware of.

No they are a matter of opinion. Besides didnt he infer Kaisers whole post to be a bunch of lies.

Kaiser made those statements as if they were facts. At any rate, opinions that are so obviously wrong can still be accurately described as falsehoods.

No, he called the posts "over the top falsehoods."

Goofball, how are they falsehoods? Have you ever even heard of Affirmative Action and groups like the Black Panthers that make it impossible for the government to fix these rascist programs?

Bugs you, doesn't it?

~;)

Don't worry, I'm already getting bored with it so it'll probably change soon.
