After a M/H game with the saxons in which i swept all before me i thought i had the game in the bag
But since then i've tried 3 factions and got beaten up once by myself(damn friendly fire) so i'm really in need of an easy faction to keep my moral up any sugestions?

Huns?

If your games were ruined by hordes, don't worry! If they hit your faction (sometimes they don't), then they can be devastating. The random factor keeps the game interesting as you can't be sure what the hordes are gonna do.

Huns could be interesting, maybe the Vandals. It's really up to you.

As Craterus said , the Huns are a good choise for a good and different game.

However , you shouldn't underestimate the difficult starting position they face, right nere the Vandals, if you decide to attack them , then those early battles are really important.
Especially since they have around the same tpye of stacks you have, and you need to make sure you keep a good army for the sacking of settlements , to manage your stacks.

All in all , I think you should find this a morale boosting experience .~;)

Yes they were i lost 2 as the sarmatians and one as the lombardi .
I'm not giving up just a bit undecided on who to try next i'm really busy so i'd like a relaxing not a very challenging game.

As the huns you really want to spark the "great push" of migrating hordes towards ERE and WRE. I horde the Roxolani first since they, sometimes, go east/ south towards the ERE backdoor or even the Sassanids, he he! Then I hit the Sarmatians, who always goes for Constantiople, the the Goths who goes for Rome. The Vandals usually puts pressure either on the Sarmatians and Goths or moves into central Europe moving down the Poo-valley towards their target Cordoba.
When the Sarmatians settle in Constantiople I evict them to sending them towards WRE too. Sometimes though they stay and want to re-take Constantinople. The problem with hordes is that they always migrate west. In one game as the Huns I never settled but sacked every settlement in eastern Europe, the steppes, the Balkans (but didn´t touch WRE or ERE) and it´s still rebel controlled. All factions are now fighting for France, Germany and Italy. So now I´m thinking of moving down the Kaukasus to give the Sassanids a run for their money.

Thanks for all the advice but after all the talk about the huns i decided to pick the guys at the other side of the world the celts and am doing fine fighting the romans and french in germany and france.:duel:
The romano-british were cut down by a 2% chance assasination that worked i guess that makes up for all the bad luck in my previous games.:charge:
