Just a wee thought that the game could allow the player 1 aux move ie move an army after the comp had made its move? This would kind of even the odds since the comp sees your moves then makes its choice, it would also mean that you could assist allies in attack and would add some nice elements to the game i feel.

As long as you could only move armies that you haven't already moved in your first phase then i think that would be a great idea.

Didn't ECS say that the computer DOESN'T see your moves? That it used to in Shogun but not any more?

I rather think he did...

yup. the ai does NOT see your moves. it is moving independently as if you were both moving at the same time. and yes, it was the other way around in stw/we/mi.

At the very least there should be more military interaction between allies. During the early and high middle ages the 'national' armies rarely fought alone. William himself needed the Flemish and Bretons aside from his Normans to conquer England. It would be a nice thing to have more interaction with 'allies' other than waiting for them to stab you in the back!
