At 7:00 Central time The Town & and Country Bowl will be played on 1 side you have the god -fearing reagan rattlers at 4-2 and 2-1 in district not to mention at 48-0 shutout last week. and on the otherside those godless sodomites Smithson Valley at 5-1 and 2-1 in dristrict. This is the best team my school has had in years we must win.~:cheers:

What a fun thread - I wonder how the Gonzales Apaches are doing this year. Back about 25 years or so ago we used to play against South Side - made for an interesting game especially when we traveled to San Antonio.

no they are 4A I play in GODS district 26-5a with Converse-Judson ,Smithsion Valley, Reagan, Madison, Lee, Mac and Chruchill

For soccer (which is what I play) Churchhill is the best I think. Alamo Heights plays 5A teams and still got semi-finals last year...:bow:

Reagan is the best at soocer. Judson SV Madison and Reagan are competing for the three spots

When I lived in Austin for a few years, I quickly came to realize that football was the true religion of Texas and that the various churches were locations people went to clear their heads prior to kickoff of the Sunday games.~:)

I remember reading about a high-school championship football game with an attendence of 37k that was held in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. 37 k for a high school game!!!!! Then I read further, and saw that it wasn't even the top tier -- but a AA game.:dizzy2:
