Well? I think Cigs becuase allot of problems can come from them and with dip as long as youre not doing half a can a day there really isnt any problems (except your lower lip being prone to cancer and cuts.)

I think dips are worse, because a bad dip smells worse that a bad cigarette. However, in health terms, fags are worse.

Lung cancer. I think they're both disgusting to me. If smoking companies start educating people about risks. Then smoking would be someone's educated choice. Of course why would a cigerette give information that would lose them money? We're in a bit of a bind in my opinion. Same with dip.

Dip is actually worse. Ciggarettes take years to kill you. Dip, on the other hand, can kill you extremely quickly if you are not careful. For example, if you develop a sore, and keep dipping every day, you can die within a few weeks. It's lethal.

Dip, by the way, is highly potent (but apparently tasty) tobacco that you stuff into your lower lip. You don't even chew it; it just sits there, soaking into your lip. It's disgusting.

Tobacco use that is limited to the mouth is very dangerous. Even though it does not affect the lungs, it still affects the mouth, throat, tongue, and pallate, to an even higher degree than normal. Just as an example, I smoke cigars. For a few weeks a while back, I started breaking routine and smoking four or five a week. pretty soon (within a week or two) I was having occasional small, burning sensations along my upper pallate and the middle of my tongue, where I usually draw up my saliva to spit out (it's a BAD idea to swallow that stuff.) As a result, I made myself stop for about three weeks until they went away. Even now, I do not smoke more than twice a week. It is a very relaxing habit, but it is quite life-threatening.

I would be VERY hard-pressed to believe that someone could be unaware of the potential health-risks associated with tobacco use. Since I think, therefore, that it is an informed decision, it really isn't my business.

Smokers and other tobacco users are also aware of: the cost of their materials, the higher taxes they pay for them, the higher insurance costs they pay, and the inconveniences they must suffer in an increasingly regulated public sphere.

Other people cook sinus medicine into powerful intravenous drugs, despite all the even higher risks of that behavior.

I confess I don't understand it, but ultimately it is their choice.

Considering what you discibe I'm guessing dip equals snus here in Sweden (new thing in the US BTW?).
Never heard about that quick killing when it comes to snus and considering what country I live in, I would have heard it several times over if it's a common phenomena. Gives you lip cancer though.

And yep it's really discusting, but atleast it doesn't hurt me passivly as smoking does, so I vote that cigarets is worse (for me that is).

Actually, dippers are probably more dangerous to be around- if their spit lands on you, it will burn a cancerous hole right through your skin. Also, they spit. I just want to reinerate that. They spit. They spit brown fluid. And sometimes, they do it so much that their skin bleeds when they put the stuff in at first- so they spit blood. And that is real. I have seen it. I almost threw up the first time I saw someone do that.

Hmm, it seems that it's simular to snus, but not the same. Why I asked about the age is because they have been trying to export snus to other countries in recent years.
