Rarely am I serious, we all know that, but seriously, I thought that this was suppose to be a place to express complaints, give suggestions, and so forth. Lately it seems that its been run to the ground a bit...
Not that I'm WHINING of course, but has this part of the Guild lost its way? If so, how about a little self governing so we can use this area to a better affect.~:)

However, better the Watchtower backroom than the Watchtower proper.

It is, but isn't that is what it is intended for? To allow .Organs to discuss the Org's policies and actions.

Hi Dave,
If by "this subject" you mean
has this part of the Guild lost its way? then the answer is no... nothing has been said to me regarding the Watchtower Backroom.
I do have my own opinion, of course.

Well, the way I see it, it's rather destined to be like this, just simply because when one complains about a politics related forum, one will complain about the politics behind the forum.

Pretty much nails it - this is the reason why the Backroom section of the Watchtower has been created.
The "general" Watchtower is there for the reason Dave gave (i.e. suggestions, discussion of problems with the forum).
However, the past has shown that there also seems from time to time to be the need to discuss how the Backroom is handled - as these discussions often evolve around how the moderators handle the Backroom, it did not seem appropriate that these discussions would happen in the Backroom itself (where they would be moderated by the people whose decisions are debated).
OTOH, discussions about Backroom policies seem to naturally have a "political bias" component. To keep the actual Watchtower clear of threads with political content while still allowing patrons to debate Backroom policies on a somewhat "neutral" ground, Tosa created the Backroom section of the Watchtower.

By the way... does anybody know why there was an indian in the village people? Did they consider indians to be gay? Or just *shudder* sexy?

Actually, if the homosexual historians have this correct, lesbian women were made into priestesses in some Western Tribes. I have a feeling that thats some serious history revision, but hell who knows. Maybe their Indian name was "Eating Beaver" or something to that effect.~D
