Um... I was just messing around with those game-end waves and I found out that Poles' game-end is narrated by that orthodox narrator. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or what, I'm just wondering.

Poland is about 95 % catholic ,with a small orthodox minority.

Perhaps because Poland is one of the few Catholic factions that can't crusade.

Historically speaking,i think Poland participate in a crusade (1444) nad defeated at Varna by the Turks. :book:

I'm not really complaining about Poland's inability to crusade, it's just that I'm wondering whether or not the programmer intended Poland to be orthodox. Most provinces aren't 100% catholic or whatever, but as far as the game is concerned, the reason a faction has an orthodox (or other) narration is because that particular faction "belongs" to a particular culture.

Maybe there's a convert type of GA for Poland. Well, I don't know. This is my first time playing as the Poles.

I think that the developers switched Poland's faith somewhere during development. The Poles still get a reduction for Orthodox bishops which they can't build, so this does indicate they were Orthodox once. There is no such things as "national conversion" in M:TW, with the exception of the Viking faction in VI, so it isn't a GA goal.

I wonder what Poland's faith was in Medieval times?
