When i accept my princess to marry with another faction, i get allied but it also says i can get some land when the king dies. How does this happen ?

It happens when the other factions king dies without male heirs. You can get their land by killing them. I'm sure if you get all of their lands or just some provinces.

you get all the land he owns at the moment when he dies ( allied king )
I once got 5 former novgorod provinces , because I killed their very bad king, with my 6 star assassin ~:)

It is a very rare occurance where you gain land from an ally when the royal house dies out, but one of your princes has maried a princess of theirs. Some people managed to increase their territory by marrying a princess of another faction and then wiping out their king and princes with assassins. However, declaring war on them will annul the treaty, so you won't gain any land apart from what you conquer.
