Removing peasants ???

Hi everyone ~:wave:

As a rule in my campaigns in both RTW & BI I do not like to use peasants. I know some people have modded them out but I am not sure how. I want to mod them from being recruitable as well as from starting armies. Can anyone tell me how please?

Also what are your experiences where you have modded peasants out?

Not answering your questions, but I would be tempted just not to hire peasants. In BI, they are very low upkeep, so I don't think it is like the AI will be hurt by buying them (a problem in MTW early period).

The AI may not be hurt financially by buying them but it will reduce the strength of their armies.

You go into the buildingfile and remove the option for the governor buildings to train Peasants... But I wonder about Herdsmen. They are basically just mounted Peasants.
