LK, Nagatsuka? I think we should discuss Religions for Dark Age Mod.

So far in original:

Rel_Catholic
Rel_Orthodox
Rel_Islamic
Rel_Pagan
Rel_Heretic
Rel_Jewish

And now how I would like to have them edited, what your opinion...

Rel_Catholic - Asatru
Rel_Orthodox - Christian
Rel_Islamic - Shamanism (Mongos)
Rel_Pagan - Islamic
Rel_Heretic - Native Cults
Rel_Jewish - Celtic

With Native Cults I mean logal, small Religions like Polish or old rest-Roman like Mithras Cults. Those appear in as good as every province... (Also Jews!)

My idea to make religion changes possible: All "Barbarians" can build both, their own Religion's and Christian Buildings. Edited that way that there are no Asatru and Christian Rebellions against other Religious Kings, but if another religions Building is placed in their province this will be like in Shogun...

Examples make easyer: Franks are made Rel_Catholic and Catholic_Culture, so officaly Asatru but if they only build Chuches (spread Christians) and no Lost Woods (spread Asatruars) they'll soon be totaly Christian and have Christian Tech. But on the otherside they can only build Asatru buildings and be Asatru... Through makeing specific Units and other Buildings need a Religious Building to get it, player of the mod is forced to make a decision.

This works of course also with Huns, Avars and Britons (for that are Shamans and Celtic).

Only Prob is maybe the Piety Symbol and "a christian Group, a pagan group" things. Maybe Cultural-Specific but Religious neutral Piety Symbol can fix that, and "a germanic group, a roman group" can fix the other prob to make it that way...
