Not really directly related to modding, but since my mod is almost doen for early beta, any suggestion for .exe installer creator that's decent and doesn't have any adware/spyware in it? Preferably a freeware.
I've been using Winrar with no problems.

I used Install Creator Pro by Clickteam.

I always just made a self-extracting RAR file.

Some of the advantages of exe installers are that they can auto-run various files (or have the option to run them - to allow for setting up a mod for different versions for instance), and have info/agreement screens show up before install. For most stuff rars are fine, but for more complex mods a proper installer is a bit more robust.

I suggest NSIS. (http://nsis.sourceforge.net/) It's very powerful, perhaps more then what you need. I used it to create the installer for the latin voicemod (by Shigawire).

Thanks all!
I downloaded Clickteam Installer Creator and NSIS and will try both.
