First I would like to salute all the people who contribute to this forum and help improve this great game. It is my first post but I have been consulting it for more than one month.
Now my question (hoping it is not a newbie's one).
I would like to be able to consult a sort of annals (historical records arranged in chronological order) of what happened in my SP campaign to be able to compare with history.
I think the major events for all the countries listed could include :
- death of leaders and high ranking generals
- accession of new leaders
- declarations of war and peace
- results of battles and siege
- conquest of provinces
- major discoveries and buildings
- civil wars details
- excommunication and major religious events
It could be necessary to limit the consultation of this player "register" in the last two years to avoid unwanted info (eg : I m playing in 1166, I could consult only from 1087 to 1164 as the monks need time to write the annals...).
It would be great to compare various players registers (in a sort of virtual history archive) to see the evolution of strategies.
Is it possible to implement this ?
I didn t find any mention of this idea in the various threads but I may have missed something.

Thanks for reading.

Antidotus,

Welcome to the 'club'!

If you mean having a strategical 'recorded campaign' in a similar way to the tactical 'recorded battle' option, I don't think anything is provided at present in MTW.

Whilst this type of info for each faction is obviously contained in some table or other, and updated on a per-turn basis, I don't believe it can be accessed.

Nice idea though.
