Who's the unfunniest funny man?

Here's an article I perused off the net....and I could'n't agree more.

Forget about all the others - Here's someone who makes those people look like
THE MOST HILARIOUS THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE.

Step, or rather, stumble forward Lee Evans.

Mere words can't do this man justice - it needs a swift hard kick in the
goolies as well. Is there no beginning to his talent? Lee Evans is to Comedy what
Dr Harold Shipman was to Care for the Elderly.

He's an exponent of "physical" comedy which means basically he does nothing but pull daft faces. When he's not pulling daft faces he's making weird noises.
When he's not making weird noises he's throwing himself on the floor. When he's not throwing himself on the floor he's pulling daft faces. Whatever he's doing he's annoying the expletive deleted out of me.

He bases his style on Norman Wisdom. Which is unfortunate because Norman Wisdom himself was about as funny as a bad dose of Chlamydia.

The day God was handing out senses of humour Evans was absent in hospital having his ears pinned forward. After he was circumcised the doctor threw the wrong bit away. If this man is a comic I'm the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.

He's a living leg end. He's the world's UNFUNNIEST man. He's about as amusing as SH*TE ON YOUR SHOE.

His motto should be: "They laughed when I told them I was going to be a comedian but they're not laughing now!"

What a brilliant comparison!

For someone who was meant to be one of the world's all time great funny men, I've always found Charlie Chaplin about as funny as the clap.

I'm glad we got Norman Wisdom in there. If Dawn French ever did anything funny it must have passed me by. But for sheer love of god please stop embarrassingly unfunniness I think you'd have trouble beating Cannon and Ball.

Unless it was with Little and Large.

Ye gods how did we British EVER get an international reputation for having a good sense of humour?

It's shows like Monty Python's Flying Circus that gave you that reputation. ~;)

The guy in the first post sounds like a relative of Finnish "comedians", however. Talking like you were retarded is considered great comedy here. ~:mecry:

Personally I'd have no trouble whatsoever beating Cannon and Ball (preferably with Little and Large ~;) )

And I hav'n't even brought up Ben(right on!!)Elton, what a wassack..

And yeah Chaplin was about as funny as sticking a fork in your eye and stapling your scrotum to a door.....Laurel and Hardy on the other hand....sheer class.
