Errr.... not really , no.
Too much in the mould of most modern documentaries, filled out with "reconstructions" and 12 man battles scenes.~

A TV show can only do so much with a limited budget
I thought if I close my eyes it would have made good radio.
The whole people in a modern context speaking in the first person for Caesar and Vercingetorix didn't work for me. Binoculars and Peugeots were kind of an immersion killer.
Thought that Rome drama series they previewed looks good though.

I liked it, apart from the two generals cruising in cars down either side of the river, eyeballing each other across the water. :hide:
So what kind of car did Ceasar drive?
They left that detail out of the history books, though it makes sense they would actually have cars in those days with the amount of roads they built everywhere. Had to use them for something...

Anything less than a Ford Mustang would not have befit a soon-to-be Emperor. :tongueg:

I think he was driving a silver BMW of some sort. Don't you think he should have something more... Italian?
He should drive some kind of tank, or a ferrari tank! that would be awesome!

Caesar should have been driving a Hummer on those narrow European streets.
