Got it last week and although it takes time getting into it, the game is fantastic and will no doubt become as addictive as the other four. The best soccer game bar none, i know Fifa has more teams and leagues but for action and enjoyment on the pitch, Pro knocks the bag out of it.

I always used to watch the Pro Evo vs. FIFA battle. And although I was considering buying one of them this year, I still think they're all the same - except slightly better graphics, updated leagues and teams anda new feature or two.

I've heard good things about FIFA 2006, but surprisingly, I've heard very little about Pro Evo 5. What's new with it?

It really is a new game from 4, its harder to score goals but more enjoyable as you can score some real beauties in this. Some of the skill certain players can do being real highlights especially when you play teams like Real and Barce with the likes of Zidane and Ronaldino having some amazing new moves, better advantages and refs will allow play to continue and often book players later after advantages have been played and now certain players such as Gerrard, lamps and rooney have new long shots.

Alot of new features and much more life like gameplay make this game a must. A have played the new fifa, and not bad by anymeans is in the championship of footie games with pro being top of the premiership. Its as simple as that mate~D l

I have it and it rocks. It is harder to score now as you only get a few cear cut chances but some of the goals are absolutely amazing. My first goal was a free kick right in the top corner. I have noticed certain players have stats liek real life. eg. Fabregas is an amazing passer but can get pushed off the ball easier. Speaking of which it is harder to regain posession.

Has Pro Evo got the manager thing, like FIFA? With the sponsor management etc.

I've always admired Pro Evo for the smoother gameplay, and when playing FIFA it's not as smooth or immersive. I'd put Pro Evo above FIFA for this reason, amongst others, but I won't get either for this season. Maybe next year

I'm thinking of getting this. I've beem a big fan of the Konami footie games since ISSPro '98. Or whatever. Yeah, I have every PES cept 5, and I played a 5 demo in last months OPS2. It looks cool enough, so I'll porbably end up having my dad buy it. I'm saving for the new Fire Emblem and also some RAM.

My freind has and ive played on it, i think the game has slowed a bit down which is good the graphics are really good, one thing that cinfuses me is that they have the Chelsea and Arsenal strips player names etc but not the rest of the premierships, why dont they buy the rights for the other teams?

Fifa has them. They only dont have the German league and the rest of the players but they have almost all the proper names for the players in thiose leagues just not the team names and shirts
