View Full Version : Is XIDX Fixed?

Lost touch a little bit whilst messing with particles, effects, etc. and even actually PLAYING the game a little bit...

The extract function was working for BI animation packs, but the re-build wasn't. Has anybody got it to work?

Due to multiple issues, I have stopped developing the MM mod for BI, and am seriousely considering abandoning development for BI and just focusing on making the mod for RTW 1.2

The tools are more mature, the effects seem to work better, and there is actually not a lot of the extra features in BI that I need. The Horde thing is nice, but thats about the only benefit. If I can't implement the new skeletons and animations properly, though, then there is really no point.

Somebody told me Verc had fixed the problem with XIDX and if you download it now it will work but I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if this is true.

I know he fixed teh unpack side of things, because originally the BI skeleton files wouldn't unpack, just the animation ones. The version I have unpacks the files correctly

When I re-pack, though, I don't seem to get a viable set of files. I will try re-downloading later on tonight and see if the current version on TWC is later then the one I am using.

It is fixed and working for the anims , for the sounds tought doesnt work so well .....

XIDX should be available from the downloads area at TWCenter.net
