OK. I have a question.

I'm trying to make a website (www.totalwar.airborne.ru), so i need unit icons.

Can somebody tell me how can i open the .bif files?

and another question.
were i can change the unit stats? I've looked for unit.txt file, but didn't fined it. I want to change number of arrows for my archers

Click on "Files" in Main-Menu of this Page, open "tools" there should be a Download for Bifread 2.1. Get it and you may extract Bif-Data to bmp and from that to any format you like.

Changes to Units can be done in Crusader_Units...txt in the original game folder. Make a backup and be careful, nummber of arrows for each Archery-Unit is there as well as anything! For example: Add the word "Russian" to a part like (GERMAN_HRE,DANISH,ENGLISH...)if you find a Unit you like and the Russians will have it...

the units that you will find in bif form dont come with proper faction colors... ive been working on a project for my website that required these and i have all but 2 factions done. i will make them available to download when i finish later this week. i have 30x38 photoshop originals and 50x50 jpgs... anyone who wants the originals for further editing can email me.

Why don't you use the unit icon lbm's
and convert them to jpeg or gif
or what ever you want, or am I missing
something here and what do you mean by proper faction colours.Have you taken
screen shots of them for each faction
or do you mean that silly floresent shit?

Hi there all,

Is it possible to make the battlefield flags have designs and not just the monochrome faction colour? I'm doing a War of the Roses mod and I've fixed up the flags of all the factions but I was hoping to mod the hanging down flag with a cross of St George on top and some decorative stuff along the fringes and a rose at the bottom.
