I just love the characters that RTW sometimes produces ~D

The really funny thing is that this guy's actually a 5 star general. He's like a genius that never got to shine because he was always cowering behind the rearmost rank of the legionaries.

Question is... is he better or worse than going into battle without a general? Big command boost, but big morale drop...

I've certainly never bothered with him.

I find it funny that the AI bogs down a general with many VnVs, but he is STILL uncapable of being good at much of anything.
Case in point: My old Germania campaign and a "buff" Brutii faction leader. (http://www.kekvitirae.com/buffroman.jpg)

I've certainly never bothered with him.

Each point of command adds to morale (and I think stats, but not sure), so if the total of the morale penalties is more than the number of command stars, I'd ditch him.

The traits need to complete mod.

In BI, there appears to be lots more morale based traits, or at least it appears that way to me. Some of my generals have had several morale based traits and retinue characters, giving up to +10 morale before command points. There's also lots of negative morale traits and characters around.

Haha I know. He blows even more because he has archers for bodyguard, probably a bug.

Also, what is he doing in Corduba??? Doesn't he start in Augusta Vindelorum or something? The AI never transfers its generals that far in my campaigns.

Yes... He was in Augusta Vindelicorum when I took his head....
