Hello,

I Wish to know who owns STW.
is it EA or CA?

I understand that EA have abandoned the game, AS far as I know any way,

And I dont beleve CA have any more plans for it,

So Im wondering who actualy Owns the games and can decide what To happen to it,

I Am hopeing that Either CA or EA still own the resellers rights to the game And wish to releve them selfs of it and release the game as abandonware,
Just like Grand theft auto 1 is Now free,

This could REALLY help the STW community. And could easily encourage people to Buy the newer games,
And Bring the TW serise to more people,

After all I bought STW when it was released,
i skiped MI
but bought WE when my oriogional cd became unplayable due to over use and scratches,

I then Bought MTW
Then VI

And I even Bought rome,

All becous I loved Shogun so much and hoped That i would receve games Of the same qualaty,

So unless you know by now what i wish to know,
Its.

Who would i contact to find out if this is possible.
Ea or CA, or both?
And who Exactly at either company would i need to adress,

This really could be helpfull to me,

And Although this is a STW question,
I beleve It Has enough relevance to all the TW games To be alowed to stay in the entrance hall,

Obviously, I would not complain if it was mooved to a difrent forum topic,

Hope some 1 knows the answer :)

If in doubt, ask them both.

I payed 50$ AUD recently on e bay for STW/WE : O

Worth it though.

There is a company name of 'soldout(dot)com' on the cd.

I agree, make STW free and they will sell more copies of later games for sure.

If I recall correctly, EA sold the rights of the game to some bargain bin publisher some time ago, so they have no say in what happens to the game. I therefore doubt that your idea would be put to work.

Pity  .
