I've been trying to work out a few things in several BI campaigns and I was wondering: Religion is a much bigger thing in BI than in vanilla, is there any kind of guide or list detailing how the religions work, particularly information on what the various structures do, what units are affected by choice of religion (such as Frankish Paladins) and the exact effects of the various temples you can construct. Something like the temple guide in frogbeastegg's Beginners Guide to RTW?
Thanks,

Well any special units from a christian church come from the Monestary line of buildings. Any priest unit comes at hermitage, Paladins come at monestary. Lombard berserkers come from temples of Donar level 1 IIRC. Druids and hounds of Cullain come from pagan celtic temples, I can't remember the specific ones except that it's not Morrigan.

I'd pretty much worked out the units by now, but thanks anyway. ~:)

2 silver chevron Paladins come from Pagan settlements. They're nasty.

Besides Sol Invictus and Mithraic priests, do the pagan Roman temples offer any other ancillaries?

Thanks very much, Ragnar.
Besides Sol Invictus and Mithraic priests, do the pagan Roman temples offer any other ancillaries?
Just briefly scanning through the ancillaries file, it seems that the temple of Sol Invictus gives a few under certain circumstances: Pontifex, Fasces, maybe Wise Man.
I hope that if anyone does have information about temples they should post it, I think it would be very useful. I've got a fair amount of them mapped out myself, I will post it as soon as I can find it.... {cough}
