What would happen of another faction conquers 60% of the map? I'm playing as Sicilians and the English have conquered all of Spain, HRE, France and parts of Middle East and Africa. I'll post some screenshots later.

Good question. I would expect them not to have programmed conditions for the AI to win like that. You could perhaps play that game for a while and help the english out as mush as possible and then reload later to win yourself. If they do win, would it be like loosing a GA game?

They sure are big. I on the other hand don't have a large army but I have a good toasting crew.

Any suggestions on how to help the English in their conquest?

Conquer the world, except for england and then disband all your troops at once and declare war on them by attacking with a unit of peasants.

A good idea. I was thinking of leaving them for last. When I've finished all of them off I'll save and try that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't have an actual count, but I remember in my Italian game I turtled in a big way and apart from conquering the Sicilians and a little crusading early on I stuck to my homelands until well into the late period. My Spanish allies dominated the world, and by the time I started using the super-duper late period army I'd been building up to they controlled nearly everything except me and the pope. There were still two or three other factions with one or two provinces, but I'm sure the Spanish had well over 60% and the game just continued on.

I'm sure if another faction gained 100% it'd tell you (mostly because you'd be dead by then), but the AI doesn't seem to have a 60% victory option. Of course I could be wrong on this as my investigation is completely unscientific, but oh well. That's all I got.

As an avid early turtler I've seen some AI factions go big..all that seems to happen is at a certain point they get clobbered with masses of simultaneous rebellions.

Yes, i've seen the spanish get very large, then get hit with rebellions and civil wars right after another. It was quite funny.

Yes, the AI is about as competent as a first-time M:TW player when it comes to preventing rebellions, which makes me doubt we'll ever see a 100% victory for the AI, no matter how much you help it.

Playing the Danes my steadfast allies, the Spanish, conquered so much of the world that they experienced the loyalty drop which they were easily able to deal with. They had at least two horde sized armies that rained destruction on the rebels.

I suppose you could help them by killing off the other catholic factions.

Edit: I should clarify, I mean killing of their royal lines with your inquisitors.

I've helped factions get fairly big, over 60%, I'm confident of it. They needed an awful lot of help though. I think it was the french I helped out in a big way, using my assasin school to decimate their war enemies royal family and generals.
Naturally they turned on me, lost every battle over the course of a decade and fell to peices in mass rebellions.

They just can't appreciate your effort
