Shogun TotalWar MI Always crashes on same date!!!!!!!!

Hey,

Can any one help me please?

Recently installed Shogun and the Mongal invasion again, and everything was runnning smoothly, and then it just freezes...

At first i thought i might be able to solve it by downloading the latest patches, still didnt work.

It always seems to freeze/crash when i get to the same date in the game
(1538) i know this as ive restarted twice, also tried re-installing, and its still the same, no matter what i do cant get past that damn date.!!

OK I posted this in the Apothecary thread link (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=57013) and they need you to post your computers specs.

Give as much info as you can, it'll save time

that is either because one daimyo dies or you get a heir.

to solve this problem, go to the folder "voice", delete all .mp3 files. (if you know how to do it, you can use another codec to re-code those mp3 files, so that you don't have to delete them)

now you can play (remember to click "cancel" if the game asks you to put in disk 2)
