Is it possible to replace the opening/closing movie clips with avi/mpg files of your own make or to add mpg files for events like in STW - the assasinations or something?

Create an empty file called skipcredits.txt in the game directory.

How about the assasination or executed general events? Is it possible to add new movies there?

There are no game-event movies in Medieval, and there's no way for you to add them.
