DA is still sorta new and, well, let's just say he's very enthusiastic. ~:joker: It's not normally the type of thread you'd see EB members making on this board, but ... meh... it's not a big deal I don't think. Shall we stop mod members of all mods from making public posts about their opinions about their mods? Especially if they still are relatively new to the mod? Nah. ~:cheers:

While I don't agree with the tone, the guy has a point. These posts only serve to make us jealous. I appreciate the attempt to living things up here Divinus Arma, but we all know it is going to be a great mod. Tell us something we don't know.

Well it comes across as the school bully showing off how good he thinks he is... If you guys seriously think that DA is the right man to do your PR (which as far as I can tell is his role within the team) then you really need your head checked.
Ah well, if you guys beleive that your mod is that good go for it - act like this all you want - I won't go to the party no matter how good the house/music is if the hosts are arrogant...

Nowhere in his posts does he come across as arrogant or teaser or anything remotely like that.. he is just over enthusiastic about the mod, that’s all. And what on earth made you believe that he is the PR person for EB?! lol
Like Zorba said, is just pep-talk nothing else. Anyway, after been spoiled with a preview (almost..) every week this place looks like a ghost town, so any thread that keep us occupied until THE day is welcome as far I am concerned.. ~:cool: ~:cheers:

dgb, i really don't see what your problem is. but it looks to me like jealousy, not being let into the private areas, that are restricted to EB members. that area exists for mod development, and only that. that is why they are restricted, beside keeping a great level of surprise for you all, when the OB is released.
i don't know where you saw arrogance and "bragging about having access to restricted areas", all i saw was enthusiasm.
if you hold such a grudge against the EB team, for whatever reason i don't know. you are welcome to stay away, instead of wasting your time here, you could go outside and do something productive.

I understand that distance communication technology such as this lacks the subtle interpersonal cues we rely on to accurately understand the meaning of a message. So I apologize if I failed to communicate my intent clearly. Allow me to clarify.
Yes! I am enthusiastic. I am a dedicated fan, even more than I am a member. I joined the Org because of EB. And since becoming a member, I have been even more impressed.
Perhaps I posted without thinking of how that post would be interpreted by my fellow fans. I just got really worked up while playing and felt like sharing a little enthusiasm. I can see how my message would be misunderstood if I came out as a member and said "Eb is the S***". So, try and consider my post as if I were a fan sharing information, not as a member. I guess I failed to realize the public perception of the EB Membership title and the responsibility that it carries.
And by the way... EB IS the S***. I personally cannot wait to join the other members in sharing the open beta with you.
