Well... I'm 18, 19 next September.

19. 20 next Feburary.

(In my head I am something like 60- literally. Almost everything I enjoy is at least 60 years old. Books, music, ideas, everything.)

old enough to know better.

Its quite revealing that the poll options go to 46+, with all of the younger groups broken out into 5 yr increments, but all of us older types get lumped under one category - instead of 46+ maybe it should simply say 'ancient' and leave it at that.

Odd. I hadn't noticed that. I just saw my category and voted.

And you aren't ancient. You are just older than I.

Just out of curiosity, what "peninsula that may be a strategic objective to the United States" do you hail from? Is it the southern tip of South America? South Africa? The Iberian peninsula? The Italian peninsula? The Aetolian peninsula? The Scandinavian peninsula? Korea? Siam? Quebec? Asia Minor? Arabia? Crimea?...

My guess is Arabian. Or Florida. Or Alaska

30 currently.

The proper statistical method would be listing the upper boundaries one less from the next rank, ie 10-14, 15-19 and so on. ~;)

I thought there were supposed to be hyphens between the words- or is that just with vingt-deux and up? I need to brush up on my French.

My first PC had a whoping 512 K and was an Amstrad with two 5 1/4 inch floppy disk drives, no hard disk. CGA four color system. I also had an eight needle printer, which my parents thouroughly hated. My favorite games were Ancient art of War and Digger; both used one disk.
I was 14 back then.

You refer to some super-computer's answer to the question of "what's the meaning of life" in The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy book, right ? I did not read the book myself. That's something like what I heard from my friend about it.

And they say that the "insanity report" (sp ? the medical report that approves one being insane) have the common number "42" as their indicator.. I'm not sure about this one as either.

Whoa! What a number..

From American (or English? I'm not sure ... ) folklore:

"Lizzie Borden took an axe,
gave her mother forty whacks,
when she saw what she had done,
she gave her father forty one."

Elijah (male) <--> Elizabeth (female; Lizzie is a nickname for Elizabeth)

Clear now?
