In the main hall, which I can't post in yet, Wonderland complained of how the game consolidates units and spreads them all out in multistack armies after a battle.
I, too, would prefer they stay how I arranged them and let me do my own consolidating and such. Weebeast mentioned a way to do this, but I didn't really understand. Is this something that can be done in MTW? Can anyone enlighten me?

Yes, on the campaign map you have the options tab, to the right of the mini map. Click that and a scroll of options will come up. The option auto tidy units after battles will be checked. Just uncheck it. The computer will no longer combine units after battles, which messes up your stacks.

What did I do? Someone responded to this and then suddenly I pressed something or did something (I'm on a laptop with the stupid "feely" mouse that I hate. Much prefer a real one as this one is always going into things you don't mean to and stuff like that). The response disappeared, I was listed as making another post, and it shows there have been no responses in the forum.

Yeah there was a reply here last night, but now it seems to have vanished.
There's a toolbar you can access by clicking the grey bar just to the right of the campaign map. On the options listed in there, just deselect "Tidy units" and the game will no longer condense your armies for you.
That's how you do it and pretty much what the reply said anyway. ~:)

You appear to have two threads with the same name on them (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=57209).

Speaking of 'Tidying Up', I've merged the 2 threads and deleted the duplicate entries.
