With the introduction of a new PC, came the biggest battle possible: 29,000! I just had it, and gawd, it was difficult. 1 FPS, it was like watching a slideshow, but damned impressive. Has anyone else ever managed to get the max number of people?

If I go for Warband vs warband I can get 10,000 troops on the field with a slight lag problem, but quite playable. If it's mixed units, I can get between between 5-6000 troops on the field. And if it's a big missile duel only about 4000 men.

Anyways I wonder what the specs of the machine that CA uses for the intro video for RTW and BI are. What I'd do to have a machine to play that kind of battle on ~;p

Tsk, tsk. 2 GB RAM, 3,2 ghz and 256 MB graphics had held plenty, I imagine.

I'm not even going to try this, if I would, I predict severe lag.

And my pc isn't even a bad pc.

I managed to get 31,000 in a battle yesterday. It lagged badly, but my pc isn`t that good(512 MB RAM, 128 MB graphics).
