Since he and the party (and government) he leads were criticised for undermining the democratic process, Bliar has swung into action and is poised to rid himself of this turbulent organization that holds free and fair elections paramount in a mature democracy.

I've said it before and I shall continue to say it. This man has no regard for democracy and is a menace to our freedoms...

Relations between the Electoral Commission and the Government all but broke down this year after the watchdog’s persistent warnings over postal vote fraud. The Government claimed that the fears were overstated despite 17 police investigations concerning alleged electoral fraud. Ministers were furious when the commission advised against all postal voting.

Postal voting was a corrupt, disorganised shambles but as usual Blair & Co are unable to admit it.

It's true. He's power mad. Sooner he goes the better. Let's all hope that there is some proper opposition at the next election as I just can't see him actually standing down like he has said he will.

And let's all hope he actually does stand down when he's beaten...

You know what? I have this 'pet' theory about Bliar. I wouldn't put it past him to stay on. Let's just say a future terrorist action happens near to the next general election. Perhaps even more devastating than the London bombings. I could foresee a scenario where Bliar would 'postpone' the election, for national security reasons, declaring a national state of emergency.

Shades of Marinus van der Lubbe? I sincerely hope not.
