Hello.

Just wondering,
on the main forum page With all the topics listed it says,
(# viewing) # being a number depending on how many are viewing sub topics in that forum topic,

is there any chance of implimenting a mouse over script that List the names of org patrons who are viewing it at the time,
(maby not list mods, AM, and people who do not wish to be disclosed as online)

I beleve it would be a good thing,
As if your waiting to see if a particular person or maby any of several people has/have replied or is/are prehaps going to reply to your post,
you could see if they were in that forum.
I know its possible to view peoples profiles and see what there up to,
"but i think thats stalking lol"

maby its a bad idea.
Prehaps it would cause server bandwidth problems,

but i for 1 think it would be a nice feature, (obviously its not essential)

I remember reading a post by Tosa stating that the reason you weren't able to see which Organisms were viewing a certain thread was due to privacy concerns.

Obviously since 'things have happened' this might've changed. There's one mod in the backroom who isn't very big on privacy at all.

Privacy is not an issue. If people dont want to be seen, the Org has a nice option in the control panel where they can opt out of the Who's Online list.

Showing the exact names of the patrons in a mouseover would probably require a bunch of extra queries per page view, which is Not Good. Unless it could be done with AJAX, of course.
