So does anyone have one? How's it working? Gates must be frothing at the mouth, it's been all over the news. I'd imagine sales aren't going to be as rosy as he thought this Christmas.

Doubt that it will hae much of an impact until AFTER christmas, if it really is a significant percentage that does break down.

No reports on it here...

I've heard it to be only a very small percentage of 360's. Somewhere below 2%. And anyway, this guy is probably a troll hired by Sony to drive people away from the 360, despite the fact it's superior in every way.

Tsk...

Edit: oh wait, it could`ve been meant sarcastic... I hope so.

The Xbox itself doesnt stand much ground IMO. If it does'nt work take it back for a refund. The hard part would be returning the games that you bought for a system that does'nt work.

I've heard that the problem is people putting the 360 in a stereo cabinet of something of the like. Then it can't circulate enough air throught it's power supply and it shuts down. Appearantly the 360 needs to be kept in the open on a table to keep it cool enough.

Yeah, I read about a bit, one guy has his sort of suspended on a column so air can be sucked in from every angle!

Superior to the PS3 I take it? I haven't played it, thought only devs have it, I haven't even seen a mag review of the system yet.

@Kraxis, it was on every news bulletin on radio and tv on monday, I'd imagine at least some parents will be wary of buying it for their kids this Xmas. Maybe not though, Gods knows kids these days don't take no for an answer. ~:joker:

Great.

I have one, no crashes so far. But it is very VERY noisy, it sounds like it will lift of and fly away, and it uses a lot of power. Can't say I am very impressed so far.

You tested how much power it uses?

I've played the 360. It seem like the same old Xbox with better graphics. The thing is graphics do not make the games more fun, I will not be getting one.

The biggest difference I found while playing the demo units (I pre-ordered on but was just outside the first day shipment :san_angry: ) is that the controller is much better. Turning the black and white buttons into top shoulder buttons was a good move by MS. Plus the new shape to it is more comfortable to hold, and not too bulky.

um.....ok.......
it dident say in the news, but why dident he take it back and replace it or get a re-fund (ie what most people would do, at least in UK) just sounds a bit ott to me.
he is ether very scared by his xbox not working, in which case get a life and go out side or something.
or just wants some quick cash in which case he shot for taking advantage of the legal system

**wonders if he may be outspoken at all** :san_tongue:

If you don't wanna sue someone then, frankly, you're just a commie.:san_tongue:

Seriously though, if the 360 is something, it's LOUD. But it has the best online console play, and if it has the best graphics of the 3 new systems, it'll probably stay on top.

The Revolution will still hold it's place in the market, Nintendo has the absolute BEST party games. Double Dash played across four TVs with seven of your buddies can literally keep you so engrossed you'll starve to death.

The Playstation I have a love-hate relationship with, I LOVE the games, but I HATE HATE HATE having to buy a million accessories for it. To play with more than two people I need a multitap? I thought I was done with those when I got a N64...

Kind of went off there, but I guess that's how it goes when you're posting at 3 in the morning.:san_lipsrsealed:
