Jerusalem would be in Palestine wouldn't it? I haven't actually checked on the map, but I'd assume that Palestine's borders extended over Jerusalem.

In the MTW: VI campaign map of the early era Jerusalem is ruled by the Egyptians.

The province name is "Palestine" so that must be the reason why you didn't find in the first place but if right click on the castle of that province at the top of its description you'll find the name of the castle is "Jerusalem Castle".

Why were you wasting your time? Do you only plan playing one campaign in your life?

No, I was trying to see how many catholic factions crusaded against me with Jerusilem.

Oh I see. I think all every non-catholic and excommunicated catholic faction is up for crusading regardless of what they posses. Some catholics can't crusade though, If I remember, they are the Danes, Poles and maybe Hungarians. There is a mod out there that allows all Christian factions to crusade. I still have to try it though.

My back got up a little since Byzantine and waste of time were in the same sentence ~D

You are correct, though since a crusade needs permission from the Pope, excommunicated factions are very unlike to go on a holy war. Rather, they tend to be the target of it.
