Map textures and Sprite help

I unistalled Total war sometime ago and when I tried to reinstall it my second installation disk is damaged. I can install up to 98% but then it freezes, oddly I can even play on the campaign map but I have to auot resolve all battles otherwise it freezes.

I think it might be that the last two percent are map textures or sprites. I was wondering if there is any legal way to get those files other than buying a whole new game. I can install the Vikings expansion on top but I still can't play any battles. Is their a mod that has all the textures or something?

I don't want to buy a new game for two percent of the files. And my computer isn't up to running Rome Total War. Is there anything I can do?

You can borrow the cd from someone. That's the only legal idea I can think of right now.

Well, if you've already purchased the legal rights of use of that product from their owners and developers I don't see how there's an illegal way to get it... :)

Well um yeah Elbasto has a good point. I'm not too familiar with the legal stuff though. For the original game you can just download a mod or something like Supermod, XL, or Wesmod. I mean they're mods closest to the original game and most people would play those eventually. They got all the textures that you need.

I have an extra copy of old MTW (still works fine) and I can give it to you for free but then again you probably don't wanna pay for the shipping.
